I recently stayed at a fabulous apartment in the heart of Cluj. The value for money was excellent, and the room was cozy and stylish. The location was perfect, with great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making check-in a breeze.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was the variety of food options available.

Amazing stay and stunning and excellent location.
Very comfy bed and down pillows. Street view from the windows. Kitchenette with appliances. Great service from the host. Setting just off restaurants and shops, supermarkets, restaurants, museums, and the centre of town...

The apartment was equipped with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with slippers, a hairdryer, and a shower. It felt so cozy and comfortable, like a home away from home. I loved having everything I needed at my fingertips.
Personally, I found the shower a bit small. It was functional and did the job, but I prefer having a bit more space to move around.

For the price we paid, our stay at the hotel was great value. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, and the central location was super convenient. The staff at the hotel were also very helpful and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

City views and free WiFi made our stay at Mid City Apartments even more enjoyable. The apartment had a cozy seating area where we could relax after a long day of exploring. We especially loved the balcony in our double room, which allowed us to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Cluj-Napoca. It was like having our own little oasis amidst the bustling city.
Opaque glass imitation above the bed.

Great location in the heart of the city. The property had clean towels and a comfortable bed. Easy check-in process.
The cleanliness of the property was questionable, with dirty bathrooms and kitchen. Lack of parking options and unprofessional communication with the owners.

Our stay at the Mid City Apartments was fantastic. The concept and design of the room were superb, with a well-distributed layout and stylish furnishings. The balcony overlooking the streets provided fantastic views. The location was unbeatable, with excellent recommendations for dinner and breakfast in Cluj-Napoca. The added amenities of Netflix and a Nespresso machine were excellent touches.
While the room was overall great, there were a few minor drawbacks. The cracks in the ceiling and fixtures showed the room's age, and the lack of a full-sized ironing board made it a bit inconvenient for getting our clothes wrinkle-free.

The central location is great, and the rooms are of high quality. Despite the dodgy-looking entrance, the place feels safe. the host checked on me and ensured I found the place alright.
Felt welcome, no complaints at all.

Great Location: the hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city, making it convenient for exploring all the attractions. We could easily walk to the local restaurants, cafes, and shops, which was a huge plus.
Inconvenient Parking: If you have a car, the parking situation can be quite inconvenient. the hotel charges a high fee per hour for parking, and the alternative parking option is a 20-minute walk away.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. It felt like a home away from home. Being a vegetarian, I loved having the option to heat up my meals in the microwave provided.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the balcony in the double room. However, I understand that others may enjoy the fresh air and views it offers.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
